Everything Delicious.

The magical power of french food

Being a frenchie, I am very aware of how fantastic french food is but after so many years abroad I sometimes tend to forget just how good it really is. One dinner at the Bistro des Anges quickly reminded me of my home country special skills.

While in Cannes (on the Cote d’Azure) for the Cannes Lions, an advertising awards I discovered this little gem of a bistro. The restaurant itself has 2 stars in the Michelin (which is a prestigious recognition) so I wouldn’t be able to afford it but the bistro on the other end offers a great affordable menu. Starter, main and desert for 32 euros.

I started it off with the ravioles de Roman (my all time favourite). It was maybe not the best choice as a bit too rich for a starter of a 3 courses menu. The main was Cabillaud fish with Rice cooked with delicious citronella and lime aromas. Desert was a fantastic light fruit tarte.

Definitely a must-try if you are in or around Cannes.
